PetPal Pro ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Syed Muhammad Ali Naqvi, a sole proprietor trading as PetPal Pro, with principal place of business at Apt 302, 3rd Floor, 15 Nishtar Block, Main Boulevard, Rafi Block, Bahria Town, Lahore 54000, Pakistan. We provide software that helps independent pet sitters and dog walkers manage clients, bookings, visits, and payments. We are the data controller for the personal data we collect about users of our website and service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We may update it from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), phone number, and business name.
Business data you enter. We store the client and pet profiles, bookings, visit reports, notes, and photos you create in the app. This data belongs to you and is used to operate the service you have signed up for.
Location data. When you check in or check out of a visit, we may record your device's GPS coordinates to create location-stamped visit reports.
Payment information. We do not collect or store card numbers. Your subscription is processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, under Paddle's own terms and privacy policy. Payments between sitters and their clients are handled directly by the sitter and are not processed by PetPal Pro.
Technical data. We may collect basic usage information such as browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited, to keep the service secure and improve it.
Legal bases. We process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the service); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and product improvement, where not overridden by your rights); consent (for optional marketing, where we ask for it); and legal obligation (to comply with laws, tax, and accounting requirements).
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product:
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PetPal Pro, our users, or others.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When you request deletion, we remove or anonymize your personal data unless we are legally required to keep it.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password hashing, and restricted access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies. Essential browser storage keeps you signed in. With your permission, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand visits, completed registrations and subscription purchases, and which advertisements lead to them. Purchase measurement includes a transaction identifier, currency, amount and product; we do not include your name, email address or payment-card details in these events. Optional Google tags load only after you accept. You can reject optional cookies or withdraw permission at any time using Cookie preferences. Visit counts. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you. It receives the page address (with sign-in links and codes removed), referring site, country and device type.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your information. We do not sell your personal information.

The service is intended for professional pet care providers aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. By using the service, you consent to such transfers, and we take reasonable steps to protect your data wherever it is processed.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date, and we will notify you by email or through the application where appropriate.
